I hope you are well, my friend, and performing as much as you want again. Several years ago, I was given this “guitar man“. It has been in my man cave by all of the signed LPs of artist, like you, who have played our concerts in Indy.

I was looking at it last night while attempting to watch Olympic curling (I just don’t get it) and suddenly saw you. Not in some weird existential way – it just looked like how I envision you – an artist with a melody in his head and a guitar in his hands.

I know at our age, we are looking for ways and reasons to get rid of stuff, not accumulate more, but my heart told me this should be in your house. Maybe when you are tired or thinking about the coming years, Guitar Man will remind you that you have touched thousands of people with your music, wit, and guitar. That is a rare and special gift – cherish it. If you decide you don’t have room for it – send it to Ellis :-)
