Really stupid little things that I let happen to me.

~ Had a Zoom with my cardiologist today to make a date for replacing my pacemaker. It’s been 9 years since the original. After lengthy, literate, thoughtful questions in our meeting I axed her if the newer models got Hulu or Netflix. Crickets.

~ Speaking of my cardiologist, I was asked what i wanted for dinner, after a really long office day of teaching and music I replied “a stick of butter”. Cream cheese, onion garlic dip, butter, whatever - same thing. Screw the crackers and chips- who needs a middleman?. So that’s how I got there. Don’t judge me.

~ Speaking of butter, I bought a pound of it yesterday, alas, by mistake, I grabbed the unsalted, and I just saw that. Too lazy to return it, I just put it in a mixer on slow and added a teaspoon of salt and redistributed it into little Tupperwares, acting all accomplished like I had just come from under a cow’s udder and back from a churn at Homeboy’s Farms. OK judge me because I’m a dumbass.

~ Speaking of cow udders and churns and other country-ass shid, I want to write a song for Bela Fleck called “Someone Tell Bela It’s Still A Banjo”. Maybe I could open a tour for him and the Flecktones and they’d back me up on that song. I wonder If Bela is on Facebook Messenger...

~ Speaking of Facebook, who decides which of people's responses are “Most Relevant?” They need to mind they damn business. They get no “heart” like thingy from me...

~ Speaking of hearts, did I tell you about the Zoom with my cardiologist?
