Here's what's going to be special about this show - it'll be one spotlight, and no microphone or amplification!!

This is my Town Hall.

I had to walk through it earlier this year to get to the offices to renew the dogs' licenses. I had always wanted to play here. The room was empty, and I stopped and walked across the stage. I whispered, hummed, and then sang in that space for about 10 minutes, dog license renewal applications in my hand. It was like singing in a big mahogany box, like the inside of a guitar. I called Matt at Club Passim about the idea of them hosting and putting on a show for me there, sans any amplification. He jumped at the chance.

I can't wait!!

So go to the Club Passim website to get more info, tickets, etc. There's plenty of parking. Arlington Town Hall is just 4.3 miles up Mass Ave from Club Passim. The bus goes up there too!! Right around Town Hall are great Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, pizza, Mexican, Americana - all kinds of reasonably-priced restaurants.

So come out. Or send someone you know as a gift. For $20. This is going to be an sweet, intimate set in a big, wooden room. This is how it was done long before there were amplifiers and microphones.
