Vance’sMondayNightAcousticPajamaParty#43 - Quiet Tunes You Need About Now
Yeah. No other explanation needed.
Where: https://youtu.be/TxkFsP7yIXA
When: Monday Nite, January 11th 7:30PM EDT (“doors” open at 7 for community hang) -
Who gets 10%: Arlington Eats https://www.arlingtoneats.org/help/mission-history/ - I donated to these folks after show #2 in (gulp) March. As groundbreaking as I may think my original donation was, I think it appropriate to donate again. Their work is great, however the need is no less.

15 THINGS TO DO FOR YOUR OWNSELF'S PERSONAL BRAIN SURVIVAL AND STUFF
1) make soup out of the front three things in your fridge. Plus bullion base, of course
2) taste #1 and laugh as you either have lunch or pour it down the sink
3) pick one of Prince’s raunchiest songs and imagine Pavarotti or Andreas Bocelli singing it
4) find some colored pencils or crayons and draw pretty colored swirls and boxes on today’s junk mail and repost it
5) go to various aggravating social media posts and answer them with nothing more than a happy face
6) call an old person
7) watch parts of a favorite movie and add your own comment track, recording it with your cellphone
8) stick your head in the attic or the basement crawlspace or some never used place in your house and shout “I haven’t forgotten you!”
9) bring a book to the laundry room and read a little while the washer does their thing
10) make up a rhythmic little song to the banging of the clothes dryer
11) bundle up triple warm and read in a chair outside for a bit
12) give names to the serving utensils in the kitchen
13) tell a loved one using something in #12 “Ummm you’re about to scoop the soup I made in #1 with Tremaine…”
14) turn off the news for 4 hours
15) put your headphones on backwards for a slightly different listening
16) add one extra thing than what’s on your list of things to do. Or do one less. Proudly.
