- Yeah. Yeah I did that. I don’t care what that circular magnetized to the refrigerator says about recyclables. I put toenail clippings into the recycling bin because I am rogue. OK because it was closer.

- When I put on deodorant I do 5 swipes under the left arm and only 4 under the right arm. I counted. I don’t know why I do it or why I counted.

- Let me be clear. Don’t ever call me again complaining about your children and grandchildren and then, at the slighted suggestion, say ”you’ve never had kids so you couldn’t possibly understand”. I’m capable of the most loving empathetic listening and quiet, measured perspective. I’ve been both a professional schoolteacher and a abused child, so I know decent parenting when I see it. And right now, you ain’t it.

- When we see each other coming and you then bring your mask up, know that it’s too late- them particles is floating in the air and I have to walk through your deadly unmasked droplets. But don’t feel but only so bad because I do the same thing, particularly on a windy day. Please note however that I may have also passed gas that you have to walk through, so I win. I think.

- When the bag that the spinach comes in says that its contents have been “triple washed”, I will not rinse it again to cook. Enough already.

- You got your second shot or the big one-shot deal. Wonderful!! That does NOT make you immune enough to go lick doorknobs or play clown car with a Geo Metro. It makes it so you are less likely to die.

- I only wipe apples on my shirt before eating. I do not wash them, as it stimulates pectin in the apple’s skin which raises its concentration and potential carcinogenic toxicity.

- OK that previous thing is a lie. I’m just making up some science stuff. I have a degree in biology

- Today I ran to “War’s Greatest Hits”, D’Angelo’s “ One Mo ‘Gin”, and Joni Mitchell’s “Blue”. I’m not bragging about being musically rounded or such. My thumb just hits stuff when I’m running.

- If I did a cover album of all the songs on “Blue", top to bottom, and I called it “Blue Too”, would you buy it?
