Seee, it started like this…

I was going to take all of December off, save for a wonderful house concert in Pittsburgh on the 17th (https://vancegilbert.com/index.php?page=calendar#event&display=2316). I planned to learn 2 new Jimi Hendrix tunes, a couple Richard Thompson songs, finish a new blues tunes I'm working on, do some organizing of aero research files, and take it easy.

Then Roscoe, one of our Standard Poodles, has liver failure.

He's not out of the woods yet, but is getting better. At this writing he's been in the ICU for 4 days, with at least 3 more to go. And the bills are astronomic. But he's Roscoe.

So here's the deal. I need to work to raise some funds. I will play your SNHP cheap. I will also, for an added fee, cook your holiday dinner. Here's the breakdown:

Available any days in December after Dec 6th except Wednesdays (students) or Sat Dec 17 (Sun 18th is tight, but do-able)

1.) Vance plays your party - 2 to 50  folks... $500 - 750.  Local (within 100 mile radius of Boston or so), more if further. Will fly for xtra dough. Livingroom style. No sound system needed

2.) Vance plays and cooks - 2 to 20 folks... $600 - 1000. Local only, you buy food ingredients & drinks. Larger parties might include my partner Deborah, a former caterer and chef. (She also sings lots of backup on the Rockfield album, so that might happen too...)

New Years Eve add 30%
New Years Day Brunch add 25%

Menu - Let me know what you *don't eat*. I can also do vegan, vegetarian, lactose free, but I have menu ideas we can discuss. Hey, I'm the artist here! Wheat/gluten free is too hard. I'll just come play those parties.
