I don’t care to ever leave this JoCo Cruise ship.

I don’t care if people see me running laps around the deck for exercise.

I don’t care that I’ve still put on 10 pounds in the week of 24 hour eating here.

I don’t care that one of the stars from The Office is a few staterooms down from me and thinks I hung the moon

I don’t care that Sierra Hull is the most stage-sharing musician ever or that she shreds mando like a cross between Bill Monroe and West Montgomery, or that she sings like a broken-winged angel or how she just dashed up on stage unprompted to join me on Kris Kristofferson‘s For The Good Times or that I want to go home with her and her husband and be their butler and help raise their baby if they ever have one like some strange Fresh Prince of Belair/Nashville mash-up sitcom. Nope. Don’t care.

I don’t care that this ship is a mix of peoples of colors genders religions sexualities neuro divergent tendencies or physical capabilities. Don’t care.

I don’t care that the caps of my toothpaste and my personal lubricant have both inadvertently opened and mixed up in this plastic bag.

I don’t care if that this Holland Cruise Line ship has borrowed some extra vowels just to say the word “nieuw”. I’m guessing old is “oieuayld”. Whatev.

I don’t care how many people hear me butcher “thank you” in Thai, Filipino, or Indonesian to each and everyone of these people on staff I see.

Maybe they don’t care if I just stay on for the next cruise. I mean how would they know? I don’t care.
