SCIENSE STUFF

~ I have a degree in biology. I know, that’s funny right there.

~ I always thought that the Krebs or Citric Acid Cycle left around a “free electron” which always made me feel really sad. Now I feel bad for Acetyl CoA because it’s responsible for so much metabolic stuff and never gets thanks. Plus the name "Acetyl CoA” like a koala rap star. As you can clearly see, my grasp of this stuff, even with my biology degree, is a big reason why I play music.

~ the profile of an airplane wing is so particular from one aircraft to another depending on the plane’s need for speed vs its need for lift. But scientists are still truly scratching head about lift itself, as a flat-as-a-door plank of a wing, at the correct angle of attack into the wind, will supply enough lift for flight. It’s like that kid in your neighborhood that could beat you in a sprint in their bedroom slippers and here you were sporting Brand New Keds...

~ Somehow or another, if this really is Amelia Earhart’s plane that they find, someone will find a way to use the discovery to sell gambling apps or feminine hygiene products.
